What: A FUN Game that can last for hours (or even minutes if you are that good)
Requirements: Warcraft III Frozen Throne

DotA (which stands for Defense of the Ancients) Allstars is a FUN game!!! Firstly there are two teams, the Scourge and the Sentinels. The main objective is too destroy the other team's World Tree (Sentinels) or The Frozen Throne (Scourge). Choose a hero and then choose any of the 3 paths that lead to each other's base.

Improve your hero with items and try combining other items to form a recipe. You might also want to go to the secret shop to buy the unique items. (There are two secret shops in the game.)

There are also modes you can choose from like:

-ap: Allpick (Pick a hero from any tavern for the next 45 seconds)
-sm: Short Mode (Heros level up faster and towers have lesser health)
-ar: All Random
-dm: Deathmatch
-id: Item Drop (Drop items upon death instead of money

These are only some of the modes you can try.

There are also awards given to heros in these game like killing spree, monster kill, godlike or triple kill.

On every path that you take there will be towers to stop you in your path. Destroy them by yourself and get some extra gold. Also, there is a boss creep located somewhere on the map. A red blip will indicate where it is. The boss creep, Roshan is a level 25 golem which, after you defeat will give you, and your other team members 800 gold each!

Tip: Destroy all of the enemy's unit producing structures to get mega creeps!

In addition to the towers, 15 troops will spawn and take one of the 3 paths (5 troops on every path) once in awhile. Sentinel's troops are 4 trenants and 1 druid of the talon while Scourge's troops are 4 ghouls and 1 necromancer.

However, the necromancer doesn't have the skill to revive the dead nor does the ghoul have the skill to heal itself by eating corpses and vice versa for the Sentinel.

For beginners you might like to download the AI version first before you fight with other experienced players in Battle Net. Okay thats all and have fun!
