happy new year!
post for yesterday...
came back at around 1am...
doing night riding..
so too tired to post eariler today
so post it around now

had to decide yesterday...
whether to go with jy and others to marina bay...
or john and eug go to boon lay
chose the boon lay because i've never ride for a very long time...
and its very rare to go night riding and come back till very late..
but then somewhere along the journey made me regret and wanted to go marina bay lol
met john under his house..
actually wanted to buy lightsticks
but nah changed my mind..
but then should have bought it damn

then eug call me say where am i
hmm fine fine relax we're coming
whats more eug was early
night riding rocks!
u get to enjoy the scenary and air
met with eug under the mrt usual park connnector
saw alot of bikers on the way to boon lay
then wtf here comes the part
in order to reach boon lay we have to cross a stretch of road
though we come alot of times during the day
(which has nice scenary)
at night its completely different!
there are no lights whatsoever
its damn dark
and we have only our bike lights to light the way

if anything (dogs) and not to mention...ghosts were to appear
i think we would chiong at 100km/h
yeah that road is somewhere near a cemetry or something..
finally made it out and saw light again
then went to the marketplace
lots of noise and people
big party and again more bikes lol

then we went to get drinks after that shocking experience
shared a 1.5l of h20 that tastes exactly like apple flavour brainfreeze...
without the brainfreeze
then john shared his "getting bitched" story at tech whye
after that 20 mins more to go
rushed back to the market place for the fireworks!
the police guy said that we can get a clear view from a certain hdb flat
yeaaaa right
u'll see what i mean later

(later its gonna go to waste)

still admiring the view
then admire our bikes
run up and down the stairs
actually..
we could have noticed something was wrong when
we are the only ones at this particular hdb hmm..

3 mins..(according to my phone time)
10....9...8...
wtf?!
my phone says 11:57pm
well whatever!
to the balcony!!
*boom boom boom*
hey where are the #^#& fireworks?!
then we noticed...
the fireworks are released in the middle of 2 hdbs which sorta resembles our
parade square
arghhhhhhhhh!
that police guy lied to us!!
and its john's idea to get up to the hdb in case some trees blocked the view
we were better off on the ground

so...desperate we rushed to the other side of the hdb we were on
but...
dead end..
it didn't lead to the other side of the hdb which we hopefully
could grasp a view of the fireworks
arghhhhhhh
but looking at the other end of singapore...

woot fireworks from....marina bay?!
its so small...
we decided to watch them instead of taking them
wasted effort..
nvm there's always national day eh?
by this time im spamming new year smses
and getting spammed 10 mins later
network lag?

headed back...
but john ps us
his father forced him to ride in the car
noooooo!
me and eug by all means tried to avoid that scary path
so we see if there is any other way to go back to cck...
too bad...there isn't...
and we cant find any shop that sells lightsticks either...
after saying prayers
and drinking water we -slowly- rode to the entrance...
i didn't dare take a photo
then we saw a group of 5 ppl heading to the entrance
and it goes

"hey hey can we go in through here?"
"yeah...but it's scary though"
"woo yeah!" (wtf i thought they would be terrified lol)
"this place is used as a cemetry?"
"not sure" (well i found out later)
"night riding?"
"nope"

so at least we have 5 more ppl
that boosted the morale metre
but they were walking so....
no choice
had to go on our own
well we didn't want to like err..
spend more time there
first time riding through the road at night..bad enough
second time?
ok not so scary but me and eug dont dare look at the sides..
who knows what might...nvm
avoiding the fallen trees
and the barricades we made it through!
yes light at last!!
rode back home later whew
