today's zhi's birthday!
actually had a plan....but it got ruined haha
shall elaborate on that later

so my orginal plan..
was to get some thing from the MH shop
but...
all the items there are shirts/mugs and stuff like that
no hydra mouse shirt too lol
so i decided to handmake some trap
wanted ambush originally but...
materials hard to find..
so in the end settled for Swiss Knife Trap!
the second best looking trap in the game of mousehunt!

so yesterday me and eugene lied to zhi that we had to do
some science project
and he fell for it lol!
we went to buy black tape
(reason we give was to study how colors affect thermal radiation)
then went my house
first off we started painting the base
spent some time mixing the correct color for explosive base
then paint
but after awhile the paint starts to flake off?!
argh i knew pastel paint sucks
so we washed the thing
then use good old acrylic instead
good times from sec 2 good times..
but painted it the wrong shade of brown :( as seen here

then eugene helped me to paint the plastic butter knives
cant use real swiss knives mainly..

-too expensive
-too heavy (the base is made from plastic)
-and of course...dangerous

after that eugene left...
so i went to tape the base according to explosive base
worked out alright
but at first the knives were slanting!

and i fixed it with the help of blu tack xD
looks nice yeah

then the addition of other materials..
the good thing is
this present is actually free!
99% recycled materials (the 1% is the tape we bought lol)

yeah you can tell we are real mousehunt addicts haha
and....done!
but missing the trademark of explosive base..
the wires at the side...
which i dont really have at home..
had to bring tomorrow

testing my base to see if it attracts something haha!
but it didn't zz
(yes the bait is a green paperclip)

yes must write our party name!!
then came today
had english first thing in the morning
the plan was for me to run to get the present without zhi noticing
and rush to the library to do finishing touches..
but zhi was in the library argh!
then we (siddharth,me,JP,eugene) was like

"RUNNNNNN!"

so we had to relocate to our MTL room
slammed all the windows and shut the door heh
but i think that was so obvious lol
too suspicious

argh and the rubber band lost it's tension!
so while eug cuts his wires...
i drew the template for our card!

final product!
i know the colors for the wires are wrong lol!
together with our bait..

our card total owns la
its a hunter's log
with all the crap in it lol

added in our wishes


just then..zheeee came in!
we were like wtf!
as he was not supposed to see what we're doing
supposed to give him later on but lol
siddharth chased zheeee out using broom lol!
then we did the card fast
do all the final details
ready then open the door lol!

yeah after school went to pizza hut
along with tin,emily,jia jun, thhhh, zheeeee, myself, jastine, chuaberlake, haziq and garnesh
wow so many people!
ate like pizza
did crap
then wei zhi got surprised again!
the employee brought out a cake
and they played the bday song
then zhi was like giving the shanzai :O face!
