a really belated merry xmas!
been too busy (ahem) playing maple and stuff

26th December
which is yesterday

just got a ps3!
only got 2 games but oh well
the games are still fun!
a big thanks to my dad :)
and argh
can't believe i cant find a single we the kings album in orchard
don't tell me there's not one in singapore?!
have to order online...last resort..

25th December
went for some christmas concert thing in justin's church
there's this guitar maestro alvaro sanchez playing
his skills are awesome!
and when he plays the harp its like your in heaven
after that had some lunch
really wide spread
with awesome juice better than what xfactor had haha
the lunch was great...
but what happened after that was greater!
christmas jamming!
at first me and zhi just sit and watch everyone play
justin joined in drums
and the P.E band with the drummer missing played nothing is impossible again
nice song
although i got an overdose of it in xfactor
but im now liking the song very much heh

took the electric guitar later and began to jam
zhi took the bass
jammed the songs we knew...like
hosanna, freedom is here, nothing is impossible and i know
zhi then said "stop hogging the electric"
i said "fine"
then swap
bass is awesome heh
but i don't know how to play it (properly)
went to drums after that
also don't know how to play haiz
could only do the with everything drum beat
doom doom doom TAK!

homed after that but not before getting some icecream from mac

well in all the camp was awesome

late post for yesterday
was busy watching some korean drama..
that i didn't have enough time to write a post
so yesterday went to plaza sing with zhi
buy my EXP strings yeah
i can finally join the EXP club!

EXP strings are what you call high-end strings
in monster hunter terms it would be called
high-rank/G-rank strings!
and they are awesome!
can totally tell the difference between those normal and EXP strings
before that went around literally trying out every acoustic/classical guitar they have
and i realised all of them have...
EXP strings!
according to zhi's theory
yahama put them so that customers would feel that the guitar is good
cause of the sound
whether it's true or not
you really got to think that they are smart!
zhi then went around owning at piano
after buying strings went to buy the metal picks they have
bought a red one for myself
argh can feel the pain in my wallet

left yamaha and went around plaza sing
saw swords
movie replicas
stopped by daiso
zhi bought his ahem stuff
wanted to look for cows
but nope
out of stock
tried daiso's milk coffee...
wasn't that bad at all!

searched for a music shop but couldn't find one
maybe we never searched thoroughly
but it was getting late
no we the kings new album =(
homed after that
and restrung guitar

today
nothing much
just stayed at home
and finished the korean drama i was watching for the past three days
its called delightful choon hyung
or something like that
it was a good drama
the beginning was great
with exaggerated fight scenes and awesome comedy
then around the middle part it became sad
full of sadness
and hated characters
thats probably the awesomeness of dramas
there would be characters that you extremely hate
that you would almost want to trash your computer
or wish that you can go into the screen and do such illegal things to them
but you got to praise the actors
their acting is so awesome
that many people hate them

today went bowling!
with..
JP,
zhi,
eugene,
youkang,
and tin! (who did not regret waking up for this lol)

woke up at around 7am..
got ready then went under justin's house
actually the bus stop opposite justin's house
then wait for like 1000000 mins for zhi to come
followed by justin
reached lot 1
waited abit more
then we heard a JP coming from behind us
youkang came after that
eugene was the last to come..
scammed him on the phone that the bus had already come
ask him run to the bus interchange
it worked :D

had an epic ride to CDANS centre
and...
it was not open yet
zhi got owned!
but according to JP
we were lucky that there were lanes left for us
so we book our names
then sit around play PSP
and watch some epic soccer on some TV
the commentator of the match was a @#$^#
this guy nearly scored a goal
like so close but he screwed up
the commentator said something like this

what a great save!
but an even greater miss!

seriously epic
then finally got JP's name paged
$1 dollar bowling was awesome!
it's like paying 5c per throw
so we can do all sorts of nonsense
first round was just a warm-up
JP and youkang was doing some hooking
then me,zhi and eugene was doing our cheap shot;
just throw the ball straight at steady speed
then justin just found out something
a new technique
what technique?
justin showed us

he did a curl!
or should i say hook
it's not how the pros do it
but who cares?
from afar it looks like a real curl shot

then he showed us
the secret to the hooking heh1
then second round we practised this hooking thing
even eugene joined in
but 2nd round i couldn't get it
only until the 3rd round did i start to get it
by the time it was getting fun heh
did some nonsense and changed our names
from our original names,
to all the crap names
youkang one was the best!
justin changed his name to "some hooker o0o"

played some 5 rounds
and spinning totally owns
its like drifting!
really got the hang of it
can't wait to play more $1 bowling
but sad JP has to go overseas aw

went to eat some subway later
me zhi and eugene
JP and youkang went to watch some movie
justin went back home,
probably to sleep since he only had 3 hours of sleep
yet was able to find out "spinning"!
amazing!
went my house later spam some PSP

gonna update stuff like grad night and RED camp...
it's probably going to be below this post
cause i saved the draft yesterday heh
some guitar tommorrow!

hmm so many events had passed..
and i didn't blog about them..
cause i was too lazy..
don't know where i should start..
so i shall start with the most recent event!

2nd December
which is yesterday
which is also JP's birthday
happy birthday dude!

so yesterday went to some thh ahem i mean june house
i arrived at yew tee at exactly 1:20 lol
but they went to buy some sushi
played some monster hunter on the train
err i think we were fighting some blangonga
then went to buy stuff for pasta
after that went back to thh house cook some..
cheese hot dog...
tuna..
pasta...
with what zheeee calls "fake pasta sauce"
i seriously have not heard of tuna pasta?!
its just weird lol

but it turned out ok i guess
sometimes cant taste the tuna
then after that guitar session!
played zheeee's new song..
but i forgot the strumming pattern
and it seems zheeee forgot his newly thought up lyrics
but i kept disturbing him with noise
that he can't remember them heh!

after that some more monster hunter
zheeee ran out of battery
so i solo-ed some kushala daora
zheeee went to the kitchen to eat up the leftover pasta
zheeee had to go home fast
his mum calling lol
ate some cake that is hot (cause it's fresh from e oven)
that emily jastine and thh?! baked
its rather nice
but its my first time eating hot cake lol
(no pun intended)

went home
and with the peace that zhi finally gets
he is able to recover some of his lost lyrics
hooray!
then stayed around at yew tee
listen to some busker play his original songs
not bad!
after that saw sy at yew tee
was caught off guard lol
didnt really expect to see her at yew tee
donated 1 dollar to the busker
and headed home

28 november
went to malaysia!
first time on the train
i remember eugene told me before that the train gets really cold during the nights
so cold even 3?! layers of clothing can't keep out the cold..
but...nah it didn't happen


heard some song that i haven't heard in a long time
its "when you look me in the eyes"
by jonas brothers
yeah it brought back memories
most songs i listen to have a certain memory in them
this song indeed had the memory when i was in sec 3
ah good times

Grad Nite! 23 Nov
started off with zhi coming to my house
teaching him how to wear contacts which he bought from malaysia
but didn't end up really learning it as he was pressed for time
so yeah after teaching zhi to wear contacts
he left to get changed for prom
i changed to
then fit some contacts
went to meet zhi at yew tee
totally look like an outcast!
it's like people will stare at you!
boarded the train to lot 1 wait for the rest
met eugene, john, iqbal, tian rui and youkang
iqbal totally look like a godfather!
eugene forgot his ring
ah sad

was totally hot waiting for the train
stopped at jurong east interchange to wait for jieyong
then board the train all the way to Bugis MRT
zhi stayed behind to wait for his thhhhhhhh
so we went ahead to the hotel
and it was shocking!
there were many people..
who i couldn't recognise at first

stayed around in the reception area (at least i think it is)
until we can go in
looked around and wow
many people were indeed stunning

first course of the night!
and they had free jelly lens!

doesnt look much different...

but with some flash...
it becomes epic...fail

had many fun games during the night
though many didn't participate lol
showed the class montage
but it was later known that its not the full version
but heavily cut
overall it was a memorable night
ended off with some singing of
Graduation Song by Vitamin C
and then mass photo session
