Day Nine : Finale
Tuesday, 29 November 2011
Brillant end to the A-levels! The paper was of moderate difficulty! The whole (well except the bio students) erupted into shouts of happiness. Ah I was like smiling all the way as they were collecting the papers.
So...what now? I guess I have to embrace this rather short lived freedom before NS starts. Skyrim, cycling, jogging, guitaring (both worship and well...non worship songs)....and the list can go on!
I just realised I have lost most of my physical form (duh). Went jogging with Justin tonight and wow there's a considerably significant deprovement in my timing and stamina. Cycling form is also down as I can only cycle for one hour ( about 25km I guess) before the limit is reached. Well there's the two months to get it back (and improve it) before NS starts.

Day Eight
Monday, 28 November 2011

Recently bought a Lycosa Mirror Edition.
SUPER COOL!
Feels really good to finally type on a normal sized keyboard and not on a keyboard that is like that of a Blackberry, my wrists hurts just trying to squeeze my hand into the small positions.
So nice to type that I feel like typing all the time heh.
Just wished I could have gotten the red LED version of the Lycosa but sadly it has been discontinued.
Physics Paper OneI guess this is quite a good paper. The early parts of the paper made me go "Wow why so easy" but then the difficultly kinda picked up when G and E field questions began to appear. Can't wait for A levels to end tomorrow. Not worried for Chem since I spammed quite alot actually. So many things to do after A levels!

Saw
this on Facebook and it's showing idolatry at its finest and it's quite sad actually whether it's meant to be a joke or not. What's the point of praying to something man-made and not real?

Day Seven
Tuesday, 22 November 2011
Physics Paper ThreeOverall , this was quite an easy paper with just a few challenging questions. Zhi said he finished the paper in 25 minutes (argh show off)
Shall go for cheap one dollar bowling tomorrow heh.
2 more exam days, 1 more week!

Day Six
Wednesday, 16 November 2011
Finally glad that the worst exam day is over. With this a mini celebration can commence heh. The next three papers are less intense.
EconomicsI don't know what to comment about this paper. The economics department did a good job spotting positive externalities though I didn't study much on that argh. Still doable but my economics teacher, Mdm Loh was rather furious about the H1 Economics Paper. Y U NO PUT FAIR MARK ALLOCATION AND SET NORMAL QUESTIONS?!
Chemistry Paper TwoSurprisingly easy paper, though I found it hard at first but after the paper I felt like 'wait were there any hard questions?' Zhi and Kenneth made a fatal 404 error heh. The phrase (1-x) is now so daunting.

Day Five
Monday, 14 November 2011
Physics Paper TwoThis paper is quite ok overall. Most of the paper is surprisingly.....easy, like the kinematics, semiconductor, electric field and the alternating current questions. With an easier paper, there is increased susceptibility of careless mistakes and pitfalls which happened to me. The planning question was really weird, something that I have not encountered before. Many share the same view heh. Varying answers on how to measure the frequency of the vibrating wire argh.
Next exam day is going to be the worst exam day out of all the exam days in the A level period. What kind of timetable is that?! Economics and then Chemistry?!

Not much of a message today but we watched snippets of a film called 'To Save a Life' with some sharing!
Watching this film is going to be one of the stuff I shall do after A levels end heh.
Apparently, this mee sua thing is kind of trending in DI heh. I think me, Yue Mun and You Fu started it as most of the time we will buy the mee sua and bring it to Burger King. Heard that some of the younger generation does not know what is mee sua?! NOOOOOO!!!

Day Four
Friday, 11 November 2011
Mathematics Paper IIFirst week of A levels over and I'm starting to see a trend in my exam timetable.
First week sees four days of exams, second week sees two days of exams. third week sees only one day of exams and the last week sees two days of exams. Nice pattern there!
Paper Two was rather ok just that I figured out how to do some questions when I step out of the room. Why does this always happen? I also realised I leave out free 1 mark questions where all you have to do is use your calculator or write one sentence. NOOOOO. Estimated minimum marks lost about 20. The possibility of getting an A is still there. With moderation I can see it increasing heh since most people said it was hard. Zhi said he might score full marks zzz.
5 more days of exams to go!

Day Three
Thursday, 10 November 2011
Mathematics Paper IOverall a moderate paper. Couldn't do a few questions but I realised I committed alot of careless mistakes. I think my Paper I has the possibility of getting a B. I'm counting on Paper II to pull me up heh. Good thing about mathematics is that most of the time you do not need to worry about the time limit because sometimes it does not really matter how much time you are given. If you don't know how to do the question then you can take a long time and it still remains unsolved and at the same time gives you a headache.
Once again, some say the paper is easy and some say it's hard. Ive come to ignore what people say cause after all we're not fighting against only the PJ cohort.
7 more days. The first week of A levels is going to be over!

Day Two
Wednesday, 9 November 2011
General Paper I and III have a feeling I did badly for Paper I cause my essay was quite short, (only three body paragraphs) but eh I asked around and some only wrote 3 paragraphs too. Don't know if this is
reassuring or not. Well, as always you would not know how well you did for a language paper when you step out of the exam venue.
Paper II was a surprise! The insert featured Nero, a Roman emperor that was shared in a sermon a long time ago! He was a persecutor of Christians and was known for using them as torches to light up his garden. Kinda spent a little bit of time recalling the sermon heh. Overall, paper II was relatively easier with the exception of the AQ. I must have wrote rubbish there.
8 more days, 1/5 of A levels almost done!
Some people say that 1/4 of A levels is over and I'm still shocked that there is still the misconception that Science Paper Ones are not important...

Day One
Tuesday, 8 November 2011
Chemistry Paper III
Well I guess it wasn't that bad. It's a doable paper but some said it's tough? Maybe they did the hardest question which is question three. Ms Koh later said that the combo 1,2,4 and 5 is the correct questions to attempt for the paper heh.
Was kinda sad that electrochemistry didn't come out. That's like my favourite topic. Guess this means it will come out for paper II! Had quite a number of careless mistakes which could have been avoided argh.
GP tomorrow, 9 more days to go!

It Begins
Monday, 7 November 2011
Tomorrow marks the start of the A Levels...
I guess the only subjects that I'm quite terrified of are my language papers GP and Econs.
21 days to freedom! Though there are really just 10 days of examinations and alot of 'breaks' in the middle of some papers.
