Germany

Gonna fly off to Germany for an exercise this Thursday! I feel like it's going to be a great experience, seeing how I've never been to Germany (or Europe for that matter) and training in an enviroment much unlike in Singapore. This time I plan to write a daily entry on my journal no matter what. During my stint in Australia, I kind of failed that goal and only wrote 2 entries to summarise the 40 days in Australia. I thought back as to why I didn't do a daily entry and I recall that the working hours were insane. We would work late into the night and get as much as 2-3 hours of sleep. Thankfully, Germans strictly adhere to a 5 day work week and we get to go out to town on the weekends.
Note to self, must remember to buy Haribo (or Goldb
ären which means golden bears, if I'm not wrong) and fridge magnets.

Interesting sermons today and yesterday, which are quite similar in a number of ways. It does make me reflect and think about what I have been doing in my mission field(s) in the past months (and maybe even the past year as well) and realise that there's actually room for more improvement, room to step up and double my efforts. Perhaps the sermons have been a slap in the face to wake up and I feel this strong desire now to make a bigger impact and light-giver. I only pray that this renewed passion doesn't die off and last during the weekends but on the weekdays as well.
